That's Ood...

Doctor Who is still going strong. No big OMGWTF?!-moments yet though, but that'll probably wait to the last three or two episodes. Next time Martha's going to make an appearance! Even if I really didn't like her at the end of season three I'm still kind of positive. It's only for two eps ^_^ Then there's just the Doc and Donna again.

By the way, it was a really sweet episode, "Planet of the Ood" in many ways. Well, the gigantic brain that swallowed someone wasn't really nice. But the Ood singing was! I even got a little misty eyed, but only a bit.

I miss John Simm (http://www.votesaxon.co.uk/). He was the baddest bad-ass of them all. Insane time lords are always fun. Too bad there's only one reasonably sane left. Last of the Time Lords... That's a heavy title.

There's no buisness...

There's been a lot of Stargate recently but that's mainly because there are ten seasons of SG1 and four seasons of Atlantis to catch up on. And Kanal 6 really like sci-fi and I'm not going to complain! Too bad that's Daniel's "going away" (or getting killed off) soon, because he's kind of my favorite.

Speaking of sci-fi, I realized only a couple of weeks ago how much I love Eureka. It's so funny and smart and Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson?) is so hilarious and sweet! I wish I lived in a town like that. I would probably get complex about my intelligence though. I'm kind of smart but not that smart... Nobody is. Especially not Jack ^_^

Jag har förresten ingen aning varför jag skriver på engelska.

TEAL’C: "This crew does not appear to enjoy the traditional dishes of Chulak."

O’NEILL: "Showbiz huh?"

MALLOZZI: "Hey! What happened to all the doughnuts?"

TEAL’C: "They were consumed by the drivers before they retired to sleep. We wish to converse privately."

Doctor Who: Partners in Crime (4.01)

Can I just say that I really, really like Donna? I've seen people complaining about her on the net, but I really thinks she's funny. Because it used to be funny with Rose but she got kind of angsty (still is) and Martha was just dreadful. God, I hope that Donna don't fall for the Doctor. It's so annoying. Please don't! I know that some find him charming and good-looking and all that... OK! I too find him charming and good-looking but that's beside the point. Donna, I'm begging you here... No angst!

Back to the ep. It was good. It wasn't bad, it wasn't superb. For a first episode of the season it was great. You have to establish the new character or at least give the audience a soft-start. Although... You-Know-Who's appearance maybe wasn't such a soft-start after all. It was great though, a real twist in an otherwise pretty mediocre episode.

But I still, after more than a year and over two seasons, miss Christopher Eccleston.

The Doctor: I just want a mate.
Donna: You just want to mate?!?
The Doctor: A mate! I want A mate!
Donna: You ain't mating with me, sunshine!
